Ruşen Kopmaz is the Country President of Best Buy Turkey. Kopmaz joined the Best Buy family in the last quarter of 2007 and brought together a team of exceptionally talented experts and professionals who formed the Best Buy Turkey Team which keeps employees and customers at the center of everything, bases its foundation on living and teaching values; “being the best while having fun”, learning from challenge and change”, “unleashing the power of the people” and “maintaining respect, humility and honesty” at all times.

Ruşen Kopmaz is continuously providing guidance and leadership to Best Buy Turkey, getting ready to open its’ first store in last quarter of 2009 to serve and support Turkish consumers, around building company and customer strategies with his sophisticated line of vision. Also holding the President of the Best Buy Turkey Ethics Committee title, Kopmaz is passionate about ensuring that employees understand the company ethic rules as well as live and teach its’ values.

Having a successful career background, Ruşen Kopmaz worked in several top global companies and has immense retail experience of 10 years.
Ruşen Kopmaz began his professional career as the Financial Leader in FMC Nurol Defense Industry, FMC Defense Systems Global Division and Arthur Anderson & Co. Continuing his career as the General Manager of Lee and Wrangler Jeans’ Turkey distributor and manufacturing company, VF EGE Giyim Sanayi ve Ticaret, he was responsible for the auditing of all non-production functions. Before being appointed as the Best Buy Turkey Country President in September of 2007, Kopmaz was a Board and Executive Committee member in addition to his Finance and IT Director position at Tesco Plc.’s subsidiary company, Tesco Kipa Kitle Pazarlama

Holding a BSc degree in Aeronautical Engineering from İstanbul Technical University, Ruşen Kopmaz completed his MBA at Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Business Administration. Ruşen Kopmaz, is married and has one daughter.
